Simply because, in a flamingo colony, an egg can be broken accidentally during the movement of adults or be the target of predators. To give it the best chance of developing, we have carefully collected it as soon as it is laid and placed it in an incubator, where the temperature and humidity are precisely controlled.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the future parents had not noticed anything! Their eggs were replaced by plaster eggs, which allowed them to continue naturally their breeding behavior.
